Bank identity
Bankovní identita and SEFIRA have signed a memorandum of cooperation to implement a joint solution based on the OBELISK digitisation platform and the BankID service.
SEFIRA has become a partner of Bankovní identita and is ready to help its customers identify and take advantage of the opportunities that the BankID service will bring.
Bankovní identita, a.s. will provide electronic identification for online services provided by the private sector (e.g. financial institutions, telecommunications operators, energy suppliers, e-shop operators). Internet banking clients of cooperating banks will thus be able to handle their affairs with private companies electronically, even in situations in which electronic legal transactions have not been possible so far, or have been complicated and user-unfriendly. Logging in to the online service will be as simple as e-banking, secure and free. IT companies will play a key role in the use of the BankID service by ensuring its connection to corporate information systems.
“We are materializing our vision “For a Paperless Future” in the development of the OBELISK digitization platform, which forms the basis for building services for signing electronic documents, their validation and long-term archiving. We see the connection of the OBELISK Signing Portal to BankID services as a natural evolution towards a user-friendly electronic signature solution. We see BankID as a unique opportunity to accelerate the digitalization of Czech companies and their transition to paperless operation,” says Marián Jurík, CEO of SEFIRA.
