Trusted archive of electronic documents: OBELISK Archive

Saving electronic documents in the OBELISK Archive employed in AlgoCloud, the cloud environment of Algotech. The system is provided as a service and was acquired without the need of initial investment. In 2013, the first stage of the project was executed, consisting of the long-term archiving of received invoices. They are registered in the company’s Oracle JD Edwards information system, marked with bar codes, and scanned. Electronic invoices and electronic images of paper invoices are stored on a network disk in PDF format. From here, the documents together with metadata from Oracle JD Edwards are downloaded automatically to the OBELISK Archive system, where the input control of document integrity and the validation of electronic signatures take place. In the case of a positive result of the control, the documents are submitted for archiving. In archiving, documents are provided with a qualified electronic mark and time stamp, the validity of which is renewed on a regular basis during the archiving period of the document.
